Pro announces strike warning for technical staff in technology sector across Finland

Today, the Professionals’ Union Pro announced a strike warning affecting technical staff in the technology sector across thirteen workplaces. A one-day strike is scheduled for December 3, targeting shifts beginning on that date.

The participating companies include: – Alfen Elkamo Oy Ab – AMADA Automation Europe Oy – Ekeri Oy – FläktGroup Finland Oy – Halton Oy – Kalmar Finland Oy – Kesla Oyj – Meconet Oy – Nordic Lights Oy – Normet Oy – OSTP Finland Oy Ab – Peikko Finland Oy – Sartorius Liquid Handling Oy

According to the union, nearly nine weeks of negotiations with the employers in the technology sector regarding a new collective agreement for the technical staff have not yielded any progress. Additionally, the Industrial Union issued its own strike warning on Monday, which also includes the same companies targeted by Pro’s warning.
