Authorities revert to previous healthcare record systems in Västra Götaland region

Intensive efforts are underway in the Västra Götaland region as authorities work to revert to previous healthcare record systems following the issues encountered with the implementation of the Millenium system. Region director Håkan Sandahl expressed confidence in returning to familiar systems, despite the challenges involved.

The health service, Närhälsan, is set to transition back to its old system on Monday, while SÄS and most of Regionhälsan are scheduled to follow suit on Tuesday. Officials have indicated that further discussions will take place regarding the future of the Millenium system after this transition.

This decision comes in light of the difficulties experienced with the new system, prompting a swift response to ensure continuity and stability in healthcare services.
