Electricity production at the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant was halted Sunday evening due to a turbine issue, as reported by the operating company. The disruption was caused by a malfunction in the generator’s seal oil system. The facility is expected to resume electricity generation in approximately 24 hours. According to the company, there is no impact on nuclear safety as a result of this event. Meanwhile, the Olkiluoto 1 and Olkiluoto 2 units continue to operate at normal output levels.
