Social Democrats and Union Party agree on shared mayoralty arrangement in Vágur

It is not feasible to establish a city council majority where the position of mayor is shared among parties during the election term.

The Social Democratic Party and the Union Party in Vágur have learned that Levi Mørk from the Social Democratic Party will serve as mayor for the first two years, followed by Marin Gaardlykke from the Union Party taking over for the latter half of the term.

In a radio interview, Levi Mørk discussed the arrangement.
