Municipal Employers Association and Health Care Assistants Union to begin contract negotiations in Faroe Islands

At 1 PM today, the Municipal Employers Association and the Health Care Assistants Union will convene for an introductory meeting regarding contract negotiations.

These discussions are set to commence next week.

In addition, the Municipal Employers Association will also engage with the Health Professionals Union and the Faroese Workers Union concerning childcare providers this autumn.

Anita Fuglø, the leader of the Municipal Employers Association, stated that negotiations with the Machinists Union are anticipated to resume next week.

Previously, the parties participated in mediation through the Mediation Institute. However, the mediation process concluded on September 3rd without the parties reaching a settlement proposal.
