Linjohn Christiansen wins municipal election in Skálavík, Faroe Islands

In the recent municipal elections held in Skálavík, Linjohn Christiansen, who is the longest-serving mayor in the Faroe Islands, once again secured the highest number of votes. Running on list A, he was joined by two additional representatives, Anita Joensen and Sunniva E. M. í Stovuni, enabling list A to secure three of the five seats on the local council. This outcome suggests that Christiansen is likely to continue his tenure as mayor for another four years.
Meanwhile, list B managed to elect two representatives: Jákup Myllhamar in Geil and Torkil Dalsgard.
