The bear emblem on the wall of the Porin Town Hall has gone missing, a fact that has sparked considerable discussion, particularly in a local Facebook group. Speculation has circulated, with some members pointing fingers at residents of Rauma. However, the city has clarified that there is a straightforward explanation behind the disappearance, and it is not related to any vandalism.

According to Markku Koppelomäki, the Director of City Services in Pori, the bear was deliberately removed during a facade cleaning operation. During the process, it was observed that the bear was at risk of falling. Consequently, the decision was made to detach it to prevent any potential accidents.
