New agreement signed for fishing gear storage and parking at Sildberan in Sands

The agreement encompasses a designated area for storing fishing gear at the Sildberan location, as well as a section of the dock where the vessel is moored, along with the space where the Strandferðslan workshops are situated.

In a new development, a parking agreement has also been established for the recently created parking area just above the harbor, developed by the municipality of Sands.

Sands municipality announced on its website that no agreement had been in place for seven years, despite multiple attempts to reach one. However, this week, a new agreement was finally signed.
