During a rally for teachers, the chairman of the Teachers’ Association expressed unwavering determination to achieve equal pay for educators. He emphasized the importance of investing in teachers, as the future of education depends on it. He stated, “It is completely clear that if negotiations are to succeed, politicians cannot hide behind the work of people in committees. It is time for them to step up.”

The chairman called for action from mayors and local government officials to address the concerns of teachers. He reiterated, “It is our mission to fight for better working conditions and a changed worldview. We dare, we can, and we want to.”

Currently, no meetings have been scheduled concerning the collective bargaining dispute between the Teachers’ Association and national and local governments, with the last negotiations having taken place the previous Saturday, where significant gaps remained unresolved.
