The deadlines for the construction laws regarding the H-building are set to be extended, as the work will not be completed this year.
The laws, which currently expire on December 31 this year and January 1 next year, will be extended until January 1, 2027.
Margit Stórá, the Minister of Health, has requested the parliament to prolong these laws.
This extension is necessary to ensure that the laws do not lapse before all agreements are finalized for the complete construction of the H-building at the National Hospital.
According to the legislative proposal submitted to the parliament yesterday, this extension will not have financial implications for the government or municipalities.
