Terminal.fo is a company partially owned by Jógvan Kruse, who has served as the mayor while receiving a salary from the municipality.

According to Frihedsbrevet.fo, nearly half a million Danish crowns have been transferred from the company to Jógvan Kruse’s wife as salary over the past four years, despite Mourits Clemensen, the company’s director, stating that he is unaware of her having worked for Terminal.fo.

In response, Jógvan Kruse asserted that his wife indeed worked for the company and claimed that Mourits Clemensen did not fulfill his responsibilities. Both Kruse and Clemensen have now parted ways and no longer have any business ties, as reported by Frihedsbrevet.

Kringvarpið spoke with Jógvan Kruse, who emphasized that upon taking office as mayor, he left Terminal.fo and that other individuals were hired to manage the company’s tasks. However, he confirmed to Kringvarpið that he still serves as the chairman of Terminal.fo and stays informed about the company’s operations. He also mentioned that when the director failed to perform his duties, others had to take over those tasks and indicated that the director was dismissed.

In the evening interview, Mourits Clemensen stated that he has been carrying out his duties as director effectively, and that the businesses he co-owned with Jógvan Kruse have performed well, with increasing revenues over the years. He expressed surprise that the chairman was appointing personnel rather than the director.
