Helsingin Sideways festival canceled for summer 2025 amid uncertainty about future

The Helsingin Sideways festival will not take place next summer. The festival announced on its Instagram account that its future remains uncertain, but it has confirmed that there will be no event in summer 2025. Earlier in the summer of 2024, they stated that their venue, Nordiks, the parking area of the Helsinki Ice Hall, would be used for the last time. The festival is organized by Fullsteam Agency.

Last summer, attendance at the festival dropped by 4,000 compared to the previous year, totaling 21,000 attendees over three days. In 2022, Sideways had a record year, attracting 27,000 visitors.
