Ministry visiting Skúvoy to discuss transport issues with residents

The Ministry of Transport is sending representatives to Skúvoy to speak with residents who live on the island during the winter, aiming to gain a better understanding of local conditions.

Harry Jensen, a year-round inhabitant of Skúvoy, believes that the cargo transport between Sand and Skúvoy needs improvement. He suggests that the ferry Ritan could help address some of the challenges faced by the community.

Residents are encouraged to participate in a meeting organized by the Ministry, which will take place at the school on Wednesday at 1:30 PM.
