Residents in Skúvoy urged to support local election candidates for community council

In Skúvoy, residents who do not live in the municipality are being urged to support candidates for the upcoming local elections, as there is a need to form a candidate list for the community council.

Skúvoy is one of the smallest municipalities in the country, encompassing the islands of Skúvoy and Stóra Dímun, with a total population of just 36 people.

The candidate list includes several younger individuals; however, none of them reside in Skúvoy.

In contrast, the situation in Fámjin, another small municipality, appears to be more favorable. There, nine candidates have stepped forward to run for local office.
