The Landsstyrismálanevndin (Government Affairs Committee) is still awaiting a response from the legislative administration regarding the complaint against Dennis Holm, Minister of Fisheries.

The complaint was filed by Árni Skaale, a member of the Parliament, on May 5 concerning the joint quota for black scabbardfish.

Dennis Holm authorized the allocation of 35,000 tons of black scabbardfish as a joint quota with a maximum limit.

Hans Jacob Thomsen, chairman of the committee, stated that the committee will hold a meeting once the response from the administration is received.

In addition, the committee received a new case last week. MEGD (an interest group) has lodged a complaint against the government for failing to submit legal proposals for public consultation before they are presented to Parliament. One example cited is the legislation concerning adjusted positions.
