During the Nordic Council’s annual meeting in Reykjavík this morning, a decision was made to establish a new working group tasked with updating the Helsinki Agreement.
This update is necessary if the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland are to achieve independent membership in the Nordic Council and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
John Johannessen attended the annual meeting in Reykjavík and was present earlier in the day.
