Applications open for Sjómaq project grant supporting youth initiatives in Denmark, Faroe Islands, and Greenland

Applications are now open for funding from a grant supported by the Sjómaq project in collaboration with the Danish Youth Council.
The grant aims to support initiatives that strengthen community ties and expand knowledge among young people in the realms of the countries within the Kingdom of Denmark, including the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
Eligible activities can range from weekend workshops and nature hikes to sports competitions, summer camps, film projects, theatrical performances, or digital conferences.
Youth organizations and groups operating under democratic principles in the Faroe Islands, Greenland, or Denmark can apply.
Young individuals between the ages of 16 and 30 from at least two different countries are eligible to apply.
The primary applicant must be at least 18 years old.
Each project can receive funding of up to 200,000 Danish kroner.
The application deadline is February 19 of the coming year.
