Nordic countries reaffirm commitment to Ukraine during press conference in Stockholm

Nordic countries continue to set a positive example in their support for Ukraine, according to the President of Ukraine. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson emphasized this commitment during a press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky. He noted that the Nordic countries, alongside the Baltic states, are among the foremost supporters of Ukraine in terms of military supplies, following the United States.

Zelensky called for Europe to enhance its political, military, economic, and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. He expressed gratitude to the Nordic countries for their ongoing support, particularly thanking the Icelandic government and Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson for organizing the meeting.

“Nordic cooperation showcases a determination that is essential for all of Europe,” Zelensky stated.
