Viðreisn nominates lead candidate Ingvar Þóroddsson for parliamentary elections in Northeast Iceland
Ingvar Þóroddsson, a secondary school teacher from Akureyri, has been nominated as the lead candidate for Viðreisn in the Northeast constituency for the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2024. The party’s candidate list was approved at a regional council meeting today.
Heiða Ingimarsdóttir, who manages information and communication projects, occupies the second slot on the list, while Lovísa Oktovía Eyvindsdóttir, a teacher and coach, takes the third position.
In the Southwest constituency, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, the party leader, leads the ticket. Following her are Sigmar Guðmundsson, a member of parliament, and Eiríkur Björn Björgvinsson, the head of the culture and sports department of Reykjavik City.
With these nominations, Viðreisn has completed its candidate lists for all constituencies in Iceland.
