Police stop 14-year-old driver during routine check in Stockholm

Last night, police in the capital region stopped a vehicle during a routine check and discovered that the driver was just 14 years old. A police report indicated that another peer of the young driver was also present in the car. Authorities contacted the children’s parents, who came to collect them.

In addition to this incident, police intervened with several other drivers throughout the night, primarily on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. One driver stopped during a routine check was found to have three passengers exceeding the legal limit for a vehicle.
