There is still uncertainty regarding whether an investigating director will be appointed to review the official conduct of Ingilín Didriksen Strøm, the former Minister of the Interior.

This was stated by Bjørt Samuelsen, the Speaker of the Parliament.

Samuelsen emphasized that, as the parliamentary speaker, when she receives a request to appoint an investigating director, she has an obligation to proceed. However, the situation has changed, and therefore, a thorough examination is necessary.
