Residents of Kaldbak to vote in new community hall after polling station relocation by Tórshavn City Council

Residents of Kaldbak will now vote in the new community hall in Kaldbak.

The Tórshavn City Council has decided to relocate the polling station, which has previously been situated in the Kaldbak School.

This change was proposed by the local election committee, which stated that moving the polling place would allow the school to continue its regular activities on election days. Furthermore, it is believed that the conditions for voters, election officials, and support staff will improve in the hall.

The election committee aims to implement this change in time for the municipal elections set for November 12. The new hall in Kaldbak will serve as the polling station for future parliamentary and national elections.
