Moped driver loses license after speeding at 61.2 km/h in Klaksvík

In Klaksvík, authorities report an incident involving a moped that was driven at a significantly higher speed than permitted, resulting in the revocation of the driver’s license.
Mopeds are legally allowed to travel at a maximum speed of 30 km/h. However, police measured the speed of this specific moped in Klaksvík at an alarming 61.2 km/h.
Driving at double the legal speed limit leads to the loss of driving privileges for the operator, along with a monetary fine of 2,500 Danish krone.
