Stora Enso retains packaging paper mill and forestry operations in Beihai, China

Metsa company Stora Enso has decided to abandon its attempts to sell its packaging paper mill and forestry operations located in Beihai, China. The company concluded that the assets’ value for its own use exceeds the potential revenue it could generate from their sale, leading to the decision to retain the operations. In December 2022, Stora Enso had announced plans to sell the Beihai plant.
