Railway disruptions on Karjala line in Finland due to system malfunction

Railway traffic is currently experiencing disruptions on the Karjala line. The issues are due to a system malfunction in the railway infrastructure along the Rautjärvi-Simpele-Parikkala section, leading to delays of approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Additionally, some trains between Kitee and Joensuu will be replaced with buses. Maintenance has not yet provided an estimate for repairs, according to information from the Finnish Rail Traffic Center, Fintraffic.
