Warm weather continues in Finland with sunny conditions expected this week

Unusually warm weather for this time of year is expected to continue in Finland this week, according to the weather service Foreca.

Yesterday, parts of the country experienced rainfall, but today and in the coming days, conditions will mostly be dry and sunny. However, there may still be occasional showers throughout the week. Temperatures will rise to around 11 degrees Celsius in southern Finland today, while Oulu is expected to reach around 10 degrees. In Lapland, temperatures will peak at approximately 6 degrees.

On Wednesday, temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than today. Currently, there is only a small amount of snow in eastern Lapland. This week, some light snowfall may occur in the northernmost parts of Lapland. The stormy winds experienced yesterday in the western sea areas have subsided, leading to a more moderate breeze today.
