A grocery store is set to reopen in Sandavágur.

The Weihe Nielsen family in Sandavágur will be reviving the old shop at Bartalsstovu around mid-November. According to jn.fo, Jens Erik Weihe Nielsen has decided, after careful consideration, to reopen the store as a grocery outlet under the Samkeyp chain.

The Weihe Nielsen family believes it is untenable for a significant village like Sandavágur, with a population of over a thousand, to lack a grocery store, reports jn.fo.
