This year’s vegetable supply in Norway is not expected to be particularly high, especially in the Eastern region, according to a report by the Norwegian Agricultural Directorate. However, the quality of Norwegian root vegetables appears to be quite good.
Recent rainfall has led to varying harvesting results across Eastern Norway. The Directorate has indicated that it cannot yet determine how long the current supply will last, but there are no signs of a major shortage. Producers are currently reporting that the quality of Norwegian swedes is good, although they are experiencing some pricing pressure on the product.
