Four men arrested for smuggling 1.3 million kroner from Faroe Islands to Denmark

Four men have been arrested for attempting to smuggle 1.3 million Danish kroner in cash from the Faroe Islands to Denmark.

According to reports, the men were also found in possession of 18 kilograms of hashish and 700 grams of amphetamine, which was allegedly intended for sale in the Faroe Islands.

The customs authorities discovered the cash in the men’s vehicle while they were onboard the ferry Norröna, headed for Denmark on the evening of the arrest.

All four individuals have denied any wrongdoing.
