Liam Payne found dead after fall from hotel balcony in Buenos Aires

A recent emergency call transcript reveals the desperate efforts of hotel staff to assist Liam Payne.

The hotel employee reported: “We have a guest who is intoxicated with drugs and alcohol. While he’s conscious, he’s destroying the entire room. We need you to send someone, please.” The 911 operator asked for the hotel name and location, to which the employee responded, “CasaSur Palermo. We urgently need someone because I don’t know if the guest’s life is at risk. He has a room with a balcony, and we are concerned he might do something endangering his life.”

Emergency personnel arrived at the hotel at 5:04 PM local time on Wednesday. Liam Payne was later found to have fallen from the fourth floor.

The autopsy indicated that the injuries from the fall were sufficient to cause death. Argentine police are investigating whether anyone else was present when Payne fell; however, current evidence suggests he was alone. The initial search of Payne’s room revealed drugs, alcohol, and broken furniture.

In the wake of this tragedy, friends and celebrities have expressed their condolences for the musician who struggled with addiction.
