Defense ministers from NATO countries gather in Brussels to discuss Arctic defense, with Faroe Islands representation

Defense ministers from all NATO countries are meeting in Brussels today, with the Faroe Islands represented at this crucial gathering focused on the defense of the Arctic region, also referred to as the Northern area.

Attending this meeting are all Nordic countries, along with the United States and Canada, as well as representatives from the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Canada, in coordination with Denmark, has invited the Faroe Islands and Greenland to participate in the discussions, which commenced earlier this afternoon.
