Man stabbed near Nørrebroparken in Copenhagen

A 31-year-old man has been stabbed near Nørrebroparken in Copenhagen. The police received reports of the incident at 12:48 PM and dispatched patrols to the scene. The stabbing occurred on Ørholmgade in front of number 4. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that the man had sustained multiple stab wounds. Fortunately, he is not in life-threatening condition and has been transported to Rigshospitalet’s Trauma Center.

Authorities believe there may be more than one assailant involved in the stabbing; however, they do not have specific suspects identified yet, and no arrests have been made. The assailant or assailants reportedly fled on foot after the attack. Copenhagen Police have not disclosed further details about the incident, including whether it is linked to any criminal activity or if the victim is known to law enforcement.

“We are examining the case from all angles and are actively investigating. We will do everything possible to identify the perpetrators,” said Kenneth Simonsen, head of central investigations at Copenhagen Police.

Authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to safety in the area. “No, not at all. There is nothing to suggest that,” stated the duty officer. Police are in contact with several witnesses, but details about their accounts have not been released.
