Faroe Islands report third highest GNP per capita among Nordic countries in 2023

The Faroe Islands have the third highest gross national product (GNP) per capita among the Nordic countries. According to data from Statistics Faroe Islands, the GNP for the Faroese in 2023 was 496,000 Danish kroner per inhabitant.

In comparison, Finland’s GNP stands at 367,000 kroner, Sweden at 382,000 kroner, and Denmark at 472,000 kroner.

On the other hand, Iceland and Norway boast higher GNP figures per capita. Norway leads among the Nordic countries with a GNP of 606,000 kroner per inhabitant, while Iceland’s GNP is recorded at 569,000 kroner.
