President Alexander Stubb to conduct state visit to China from October 28 to 31

President Alexander Stubb of Finland and his spouse, Suzanne Innes-Stubb, will undertake a state visit to China from October 28 to 31. During the visit, Stubb is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on October 29.

The discussions will focus on various topics, including the bilateral relations between Finland and China, Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, and other relevant security and international issues.

The state visit delegation includes several key figures: Minister of Environment and Climate Kai Mykkänen, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Sari Essayah, Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliament’s China Friendship Group Ville Skinnari, and Member of Parliament and Vice Chairman of the China Friendship Group Sakari Puisto.
