Businesses in Finland have shown improved perceptions regarding the economic climate, according to a recent survey conducted by the chambers of commerce. Jukka Appelqvist, the Chief Economist at the Central Chamber of Commerce, stated that the survey supports the interpretation that recovery from the recent downturn has finally begun.

Out of the companies that responded, 35% reported an increase in their revenue compared to the previous year, an uptick from 29% reported in May. Additionally, expectations regarding the future development of order books have also turned more positive.

The autumn economic survey received nearly 1,500 responses from businesses across Finland, conducted at the end of September. This data indicates a growing optimism among Finnish companies as they look ahead, signaling potential stabilization in the economy.
