Public invited to appraise gold and silver jewelry at Árnesinga Heritage Museum in Eyrarbakki

Today, the public is invited to bring their gold and silver jewelry for appraisal at the preservation house of the Árnesinga Heritage Museum in Eyrarbakki. People can arrive between 2 PM and 4 PM, where goldsmiths, watchmakers, and other professionals will evaluate their items.

In addition, the exhibition “Gold Marks,” which showcases the craftsmanship of gold and silversmiths from the Árnessýsla region, is currently taking place at the Maritime Museum in Eyrarbakki. This exhibition is sponsored by the Icelandic Goldsmiths’ Association, which is celebrating its centenary this year.

October is recognized as Culture Month in the Árborg municipality, allowing free entry to all exhibitions held at the Árnesinga Heritage Museum.
