Bosnia seeks assistance from neighboring countries after deadly floods leave at least eighteen dead

Bosnia and Herzegovina has received assistance from neighboring countries for rescue and recovery operations following deadly floods that swept across the nation earlier this week. Torrential rain caused significant flooding and landslides, resulting in the tragic loss of at least eighteen lives.

Rescue teams from Croatia have already arrived in Bosnia, with additional support expected from Serbia and Slovenia later today. Authorities in Bosnia report that ten individuals are still missing, many of whom are from the town of Donja Jablanica in the southern part of the country. This area, located not far from the capital Sarajevo, was among the worst affected by the disaster.

Rescue workers are currently assessing the damage caused by the flash floods in Donja Jablanica. The situation remains critical as efforts continue to locate the missing individuals and provide aid to those impacted by the disaster.
