Two individuals were found hiding in the trunk of a car that was stopped by the police while traveling through the western part of the city. The size of the vehicle has not been disclosed, but it was apparent that there were far too many passengers for safety.

Another driver steadfastly refused to provide his name to the police when stopped in a suburban area. He also denied presenting his driver’s license and is suspected of having been under the influence of drugs while driving.

According to the morning report from the capital’s police, five individuals were detained in holding cells, with two of them causing disturbances and being in an altered state. One person was reported to have vandalized property, and both were deemed uncommunicative.

The police also intervened to break up a gathering of teenagers in Garðabær and addressed several traffic incidents and accidents. One incident involved a vehicle backing into a pedestrian, who then made their own way to the emergency department, while another accident involved a person on a scooter who was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
