Event highlights infertility challenges in Finland with Yle discussion
Every fifth individual of reproductive age faces the challenge of involuntary infertility, an issue that indirectly affects a significantly larger number of people. Yle is hosting an event dedicated to those dealing with infertility, providing a platform for sharing experiences and receiving peer support.
The live online discussion will feature host Ellen Jokikunnas, weather presenter Anniina Valtonen, Jaakko Mustakallio, the vice-chairman of the Tampere City Council, and Dr. Noora Kaartinen from the hormone and fertility clinic at Tays. Participants in the chat will have the opportunity to pose questions, which will be answered by Piia Savio, the executive director of the infertility support association Simpukka ry.
The live broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, October 3rd, starting at 8:00 PM and running until 9:30 PM. To participate in the discussion, attendees will need a Yle account.
