Disturbance detected at Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant in Finland

A disturbance has been detected at the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant, resulting in reduced electricity production. TVO’s communications manager, Johanna Aho, informed Yle that the issue is currently being investigated. Aho anticipates that electricity production will begin to increase again around 4 PM.
According to TVO’s website, the current electricity output of OL3 is slightly over 970 megawatts. When fully operational, Olkiluoto 3 can produce just under 1600 megawatts. The situation reportedly began earlier today, shortly before 1 PM, as per Norpool’s announcement. The news was first reported by Helsingin Sanomat.
