Explosions reported in Hellerup near Copenhagen, police investigating connection to Israeli embassy

Two explosions occurred in Hellerup, near Copenhagen, in an area not far from the Israeli embassy. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. The police are investigating whether the explosions are related to the embassy’s location, as they conduct an inquiry into the situation. The Copenhagen Police stated that they are present in the area around Strandagervej/Lundevangsvej following the explosions and have begun preliminary investigations.

The police indicated that they are looking into a potential connection to the Israeli embassy situated on Lundevangsvej in Hellerup. The embassy is located in a district that houses several other embassies and consulates, including those of Romania and Thailand, as well as the embassies of Iran and Turkey, which are also nearby.
