Parliamentary Yle working group’s compromise proposal fails, negotiations to resume in August

The compromise proposal of the parliamentary Yle working group has failed, confirms Matias Marttinen, the chairman of the working group. According to him, negotiations will continue in August. Marttinen told reporters in the parliament that he now needs to consider next steps. He plans to find out if there are still issues that could form the basis of a compromise. Today, the Left Alliance and the Greens announced that they do not accept the proposal of the Yle working group.
