Norwegian Seafood Company establishes subsidiary in Faroe Islands
Norwegian Seafood Company AS, based in Ålesund, has established a subsidiary in the Faroe Islands, named Faroese Seafood Company. The company was registered yesterday, following its formation on Tuesday.
The new subsidiary is located at Óðinshædd 13 in Tórshavn, which is also the address of the auditing firm Januar.
The board of directors consists of three members, all residing in Ålesund: Leif Birger Midtgård, who serves as chairman, along with Roar Viddal Foss and Johnny André Lexau, who is also the managing director.
The company’s share capital amounts to 500,000, and its primary purpose is to engage in the purchase, sale, and export of fish.
