Wages increase in Denmark starting October 1

Starting from October 1 this year, wages will increase by 3.25%, with a further increase of 3.23% scheduled for October 1 next year. Additionally, retirement benefits will see a 0.5% rise at that time.

Craftsmen will also receive the same unique wage increase that was included in the agreements made by the labor unions this past summer. This special wage increase will add 3.75 Danish kroner per hour to salaries in the first year and 3.50 Danish kroner per hour in the second year.

According to Vinnuhúsið, the overall framework remains consistent with the terms stipulated in the labor union agreement signed on June 10.
