Charges filed in homicide case in Tikkurila, Vantaa

The prosecutor has filed charges related to a homicide that occurred in Tikkurila, Vantaa, in June. A man is accused of murder. Prosecutor Katri Heinonen stated that she does not wish to disclose further details about the basis for the murder charge at this time, as it involves family matters.

Heinonen indicated that the case may be handled behind closed doors due to the presence of minor children during the incident. According to the prosecutor, the victim was a mother of three, and her husband is suspected of the crime. The couple is originally from South Asia.

The police reported that the victim passed away despite receiving first aid at the scene. The trial is set to begin in October at the Regional Court of Eastern Uusimaa in Vantaa.
