Government reviews 2011 real estate law to address housing crisis in Denmark
The government is now exploring solutions to the housing crisis, which also involves a reassessment of the 2011 law regarding the buying and selling of real estate.
This review will determine whether the existing law contributes to the ongoing housing issues.
“I will take steps to reassess the law, and if it turns out to be a part of the problem, I will initiate changes,” stated Høgni Hoydal, the Minister.
Hoydal’s comments came in response to a query from Sólvit E. Nolsø, a member of Parliament, regarding properties being sold at auction.
