Fire breaks out at Villa Järvela in Lieto, Finland

A fire broke out at the Villa Järvela, a popular winter swimming facility located on the shores of Lake Littoistenjärvi, shortly after 8 AM. The Varsinais-Suomi rescue service reported that three saunas are burning at the property situated on Järveläntie in Lieto. Firefighting efforts are currently underway.

The rescue service received the alarm about the fire early Tuesday morning, dispatching nine units to the scene. Fortunately, there have been no injuries reported. However, two of the saunas are expected to be completely destroyed in the fire. Further updates will follow as the situation develops.
