This school year, there are 7,050 students enrolled in public schools. In addition, 150 students attend private schools, while 64 are enrolled at the school on Trødin.
Among public school students, 263 are in special classes. The largest school is Fløtum School, which accommodates 800 students, while Húsar/Syðradal School is the smallest, with only two students.
Last school year, there were 7,020 students in public schools, marking a decrease of 30 students this year. In the previous year, there were 240 students in special classes, which is 23 fewer than this year. Additionally, there were 61 students enrolled at the school on Trødin and 167 in private schools.
