Train services suspended between Parkano and Seinäjoki due to breakdown

Train services between Parkano and Seinäjoki have been temporarily suspended due to a train breakdown, according to an announcement on VR’s website. Fintraffic’s traffic control center indicated that long-distance train services between Tampere and Seinäjoki will be replaced by bus services for the time being. The disruption is expected to last until around midnight.

Fintraffic reported that a technical fault occurred in the train unit north of Peräseinäjoki. The emergency services received a report of a vehicle fire in Seinäjoki shortly before 7 PM.
