Committee concludes investigation into Ingilín Strøm over false statements in Iceland

The Government Affairs Committee has reached its conclusion regarding the complaint against the Minister of Housing, Ingilín Strøm.
The committee arrived at a unanimous preliminary decision, which has been forwarded to Strøm, who is given one week to respond to it.
Hans Jákup Thomsen serves as the chair of the Government Affairs Committee.
Ingilín Didriksen Strøm is accused of providing false statements to the Parliament, specifically regarding claims that she had not received warnings about issues with the Housing Loan Fund and Bústaðir, the public housing company.
Additionally, the committee is also addressing a separate complaint concerning Dennis Holm. The Minister of Fisheries has been accused of allowing 35,000 tons of black capelin to be allocated as a shared quota with a ceiling limit.
The committee has not yet completed its review of this complaint.
